These KN95/FFP face masks provide a high level of protection, filtering at least 95% of airborne particles. They have a higher protection rate than FFP1 and surgical type face masks. Approximately 95% of particles >0.3 microns in size.
FFP2 masks are used by healthcare professionals to protect themselves against pathogens such as bacteria, viruses and including Coronaviruses.
The mask is made up of 5 layers. Both the outer and inner layer are 100% polypropylene. Two layers inside are melt blown filter material, with the last layer made of a hot air woven fabric.
Highly recommended for the extra comfort with the semi-rigid cone shape holding the inner surface slightly away from the mouth & nose and increasing breathing capability compared to surgical type and cloth masks.
